Step-by-step process to Complete eKYC: 

Nowadays, every one using aadhar in every application for proof of identity to fulfill his daily life requirements, as the requirement is reaching maximum, some of the other companies including private and Govt. sectors are demanding to identify their identity proofs (Aadhar Card) by authenticating via eKYC, this article shows the difference between the Aadhar Authentification and eKYC and which process is best and simple.   

What is the difference between Aadhar authentication and eKYC in Aadhar?

Ekyc:

KYC stands for (Know Your Customer) in which the details of the customer is verified thoroughly online which is called eKYC, by using customer's fingerprint, iris scan or mobile number OTP. Which proves that it’s your Aadhaar Card. Aadhar server checks the details received (Aadhar number or Aadhar number along with biometrics) from third-party applications and if details match then aadhar database provides the full details of that individual (like name, dob, address, photo e.t.c.,)

Aadhar Authentification:

Aadhar Authentication means whatever details have been submitted is true or not, means just verifying the identity of the customer and let them allow further is called "Aadhar authentication". In this process, Aadhar server checks the authenticity of the detail received (Aadhar number along with biometrics) and checks if Aadhar number belongs to the same biometrics & then just respond in Yes or No to the Third party application.

eKYC

OTP based eKYC Process:

  1. Provide customer's PAN No., Aadhaar No. & Mobile No. that is linked within Aadhaar
  2. Enter OTP received on customer mobile number.
  3. Accept the declaration to fetch the data from UIDAI
  4. Verify and confirm the details fetched from UIDAI & also provide pending details.
  5. Wait for the final confirmation message from UIDAI server.

Biometric eKYC Process:

  1. Provide customer's  PAN No., Aadhaar No. & Mobile No. that is linked with Aadhaar
  2. Provide fingerprints through UIDAI approved device (Biometric Device)
  3. Upload scan copy of his/her signature.
  4. Accept the declaration to fetch the data from UIDAI.
  5. Verify and confirm the details fetched from UIDAI & also provide pending details.
